A substantial and visually commanding ceramic tile panel featuring a beautifully hand-painted Qur'anic inscription in Arabic, surrounded by elaborate floral and architectural ornament in the tradition of Ottoman and Turkish tilework.
The central calligraphy reads:
إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
Qur'an, Surah Az-Zumar (39:53)
"Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, He is the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful."
The inscription is rendered in bold white calligraphy against a rich cobalt blue ground, framed by turquoise, blue, and green floral decoration. Individually glazed ceramic tiles are mounted within a painted wooden frame with raised decorative elements.
