A fine Qing Dynasty Chinese carved soapstone vase, worked in high relief with lotus leaves, seed pods, and blossoms cascading around the body. Rich warm brown and amber tones with a natural patina. Rests on its original matching carved soapstone stand. Height: approx. 40 cm. Weight: approx. 6 kg.
