Handwritten Ethiopian Orthodox manuscript in Geʽez script, executed in black and red ink on animal skin parchment. Traditionally sewn in gatherings and bound between substantial wooden boards. The text appears to be liturgical or devotional, with red rubrication marking important passages. Later handwritten Ethiopic annotations appear on several blank leaves. The parchment, wooden boards and binding show age related wear, staining and historic repairs consistent with long use. No miniatures or dated colophon identified.
