A finely crafted handmade copper work panel by the well known Lebanese artist Abou Ghaleb, featuring a circular Kufic calligraphic composition Bismallah executed in raised gilded copper against a deep green velvet ground. The piece is presented in an ornate silver toned repoussé frame.
The copper work demonstrates exceptional craftsmanship: the letters are interlocked in a geometric Kufic style with fine chased and engraved surface finishing throughout, creating a rich interplay of texture and light. The artist's signature appears in the lower right corner of the panel.
