Standing 185 cm tall and 95 cm wide, this beautifully aged antique door combines a pointed Islamic arch, a dense arabesque carved border, and a central lobed medallion in a composition of quiet, understated elegance. The bleached, silvery grey wood gives it a distinctly pale, washed quality that sets it apart from darker examples.
- Pointed arch inner panel with a carved ogee arch outline set within a plain recessed field.
- Dense arabesque border running the full perimeter tightly packed scrolling foliage and floral interlace, deeply cut.
- Central lobed arabesque medallion with a smaller subsidiary motif below finely carved in relief against the plain wood field.
- Original hand shaped door knocker (Hamsa / Hand of Fatima form) mounted at the top of the arch original iron, intact.
- Bleached silvery grey aged hardwood with extensive natural weathering, surface variation, and tonal depth.
- Natural age and wear throughout cracks, paint traces, and patina all retained as part of the authentic character.
