An antique French oil lamp with an opaque opaline glass body in a turquoise celadon ground, hand painted with a naturalistic spray of brown lilies and white foliage. The urn from reservoir sits on a stepped circular base with gilt line banding. Fitted with original period brass burner hardware, a spherical clear glass font, and a tall glass chimney flue.
Retains its natural aged patina throughout. Presented in unrestored condition, consistent with age and use. Total height: 68 cm.
