A fine late 19th century European porcelain ewer with a globular body, elegant curved handle, and dramatic rose to cream graduated glaze. Hand painted with vivid blue forget me nots, pomegranate branches, and trailing foliage in overglaze enamels. Gilt accents to the foot rim. Maker's mark J.166 with iron red monogram to base. Height: approx. 34 cm.
