Standing 210 cm tall and 110 cm wide, this is a striking antique door of exceptional presence its entire face covered in a uniform grid of hand set iron dome headed studs, a decorative and protective tradition seen across Moroccan, Syrian, and broader Islamic architectural heritage.
- Full surface iron stud decoration dozens of dome headed iron nails set in a regular grid pattern across the entire door face.
- Pointed arch form with a carved and painted arch surround in aged white/grey finish
- Carved floral and foliate boss at the apex of the arch, with a small Bismillah inscription above it.
- Aged silvery grey wood with extensive natural weathering, paint loss, and surface variation a beautiful patina.
